Day Eight

Standard

Today is day eight of the loss of Kishma.  At work the Admin assistant from the Fire ImageDepartment came by and dropped off a card and this wonderful flower, the moth orchid. It is over 2′ tall and very delicate.  The blossoms are the size of the palm of my hand.  This is wonderfully Kishma (isn’t everything right now?)

I’m writing thank you cards today, although I have a lot more people to thank than I have cards…a nice problem to have.  I’ve attached a photo of Kishma from some years back, in gypsy regalia.  She had some amazing costuming skills.  I think I’ll be doing a painting of this one!
